Every day and in all seasons, the nature preserve provides opportunities to catch that one-of-a-kind shot: ice crystals on a branch formed like ribbon candy, a river otter surfacing briefly in the pond, young barred owls calling to their parents, a young girl marveling at a butterfly that landed on her hand, the American bittern ready to swallow the crayfish in his beak, the family lit by firelight at the Harvest Celebration. These are just a few of the memories captured by board members, visitors, and amateur and professional photographers at CSNP. Enjoy!
