Thank you for your support and we are glad that you are interested in becoming a member of the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, a wildlife oasis in an urban setting.
Why We Need Your Support
Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve is a 501c3 nonprofit membership organization that is administered and maintained by volunteers.
- There is no funding or support provided by the local, state or federal governments.
- Funding primarily comes from membership and events held at the preserve or in the local community.
- There are no part-time, fulltime or other staff members.
- Board members are volunteers and receive no compensation.
Specifically membership provides the following:
- Enables us to continue to provide a wildlife oasis.
- Provides funding for: programs, events, administration, improvements and much more.
- Provides a base of volunteers to assist or at times completely perform a task or duty that otherwise may not be accomplished.
