Thank you for your support and we are glad that you are interested in becoming a member of the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, a wildlife oasis in an urban setting.

Why We Need Your Support

Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve is a 501c3 nonprofit membership organization that is administered and maintained by volunteers.

There is no funding or support provided by the local, state or federal governments.
Funding primarily comes from membership and events held at the preserve or in the local community.
There are no part-time, fulltime or other staff members.
Board members are volunteers and receive no compensation.

Specifically membership provides the following:

Enables us to continue to provide a wildlife oasis.
Provides funding for: programs, events, administration, improvements and much more.
Provides a base of volunteers to assist or at times completely perform a task or duty that otherwise may not be accomplished.
