Projects – Interpretive Trail

The Interpretive Trail provides students and visitors the opportunity to experience many of the habitats found throughout the preserve in a condensed area located behind our entrance. The trail will include a small pond, wetlands, upland forest, successional forest, brush piles, examples of invasive species, downed trees, and an outdoor classroom.

All of this can be experienced in less than 15 minutes in a short walk. Interpretive signs guide the visitor along the trail and will provide teachers with an excellent tool to introduce students to ecology
