Join us at 9:00AM sharp at the main pavilion for a Sunlit Earth! sponsored guided nature hike through the beautiful, Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve.

We will focus on birds, mammals, insects and amphibians along with stories of various happenings at the preserve.

Photographers welcome! The hike is open to all adults and children 8-years and older. Please no pets and no children under 8 years of age.

The trail is 1.1 miles of easy, mostly level, dirt and boardwalks with stairs. The trails are not ADA compliant at this time but we will make it work for you if needed.

There will be mud and there will be insects. Dress accordingly. Please comply with current CDC pandemic guidelines for DeKalb County.
